Music has always played an integral part of Jamie’s life. She started playing piano at the age of four, singing at five and flute age seven which later led on to the saxophone.
Jamie competed in local competitions from the age of five and has been involved in local music throughout her education. She studied music at GCSE and A-Level before achieving her BA Hons in Music at the Colchester Institute. During this time she also achieved the ABRSM grade 8 in piano, voice and continued a step further by completing the Advanced Certificate in flute.
Jamie takes pleasure in sharing music with her family. She and her husband play regularly together as a duo or part of band at their church and being leaders in the children’s work where music plays an important part of teaching. Jamie is very much looking forward to using her years of experience and achievements to pass on her love of music to others.
