Quenchers is a group session which is specifically designed for children in Reception,Year 1 and Year 2!
While still retaining the fun and sociable aspect of the Little Thirsties sessions, Thirst Quenchers will aim to bridge the gap between the pre-school group and progression to 1-1 instrumental lessons. Children will be introduced to basic music theory (eg. the names of notes and their values) which is so important if going on to learn a particular instrument later on. They will participate in group singing and percussion to develop listening skills and the importance of steady rhythm and timekeeping. There will also be the opportunity to learn about some of the instruments we teach here at Thirst Music School by watching demonstrations and having a go themselves.
The cost per session will be £7.50 (paid in advance).
Thirst Quenchers will be held at our studios on Tuesday afternoons at 4pm and will last approximately 45 minutes. It is not necessary to remain with your child for these sessions, however, you may stay in the room for the first few occasions if this is helpful to your child.

Please note the group is limited to 10 children so booking is on a first come, first served basis. For subsequent terms, priority will be given to children currently enrolled for the sessions.
