James Ford is a London-based guitarist and composer whose 2025 EP Time marks the culmination of over 30 years of playing, writing, and session work.

Blending blues, funk, melodic rock, and metal, James’s music stands out for its emotive phrasing and no-nonsense approach. He has worked with a wide range of artists, including Mel Gaynor (Simple Minds), Mila Falls, Heavy Pettin’, The Aim and The Vibeadeliks. His music has featured across major media platforms, BBC Radio 2 (Gaby Roslin Show), Coca-Cola campaigns, and television series such as Trial & Retribution.

Endorsed by Marshall Amplification, DiMarzio Pickups, Rotosound Strings, Gruvgear and Hawkpicks, James is recognised for his dynamic live performances and guitar technique. James Ford’s album features two legendary musicians. Bass player Doug Wimbish (Living Colour, Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Mick Jagger) and Drummer Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner).
